Did my first lesson on 6 Sept 2009. The instructor must have thought he is training soldiers; he was so strict! Well, let's see how this training progress. Oh! don't get me wrong. I am fine. I can take the strict stuff and all. It is mumzie I am worried about. She cannot last......

????
Mumzie is up to something fishy. I don't know what it is but it is fishy alright. Heard her making appointment with the vet, and that I have to fast for 12 hours. 12 hours!! This is not good. No food means bad news for me. By the way, I am now 7 months. Big girl now. Just completed my Obedience Training. Believe it or not, I emerged top in class. Not bad, eh.... Getting the cert this coming weekend. Mumzie is putting me on further training. Can't remember what it is called. O, remember now. It is the Pre-Novice. Whatever it is, better be fun.

"Most Adorable" Pup
Mumzie took fat boy and me to a Dog Show on 5 July 2009. First thing first, mumzie forgot to bring a a leash, and because I have put on just a tiny little bit of weight lately, mumzie complained that my weight is taking a toll on her. So, we bought a new leash so that I could walk on my own.

Me, at Starbuck, just before the Dog Show.

Nominated "Most Adorable Pug" (2nd placing). Not bad.... eh

Master Yoda lookalike...

One of the many faces of Nikki... heh...he..

What do you think of this?

Pink is definitely not my colour...

What about this? I don't know. Looks kinda big for me, don't you think.

Think mumzie got this outfit for me to last till my next birthday in December.

You may be huge in size but hey... I ain't the one wearing a bib.

Calories Burning Time
Just one weekend with a stranger, mumzie said I put on some ounces, so did Sean aka Fat Boy (youngest sibling). Because Fat Boy consumed more that he should over the recent weekend at a wedding reception, mumzie thought both of us could use some burning out. Following photos suggest our "work-out" session.

The punch's coming....

Arrg... my tummy...

And another punch.... I'm seeing stars...

The "somersault"

And... the winner is..... Nikki, the Pug!!!!
Told you guys earlier, Fat Boy thought I am his wrestling mate.

LONELY...

There she goes. I.... knew it. Mumzie's leaving me this weekend. I'll be all... alone.
"Lonely, I'm so lonely on... my own......"
Mumzie putting me up with some "*#&(*&$*". God knows who is that. I don't know.
Hmm.......That someone better have bed for me to sleep in instead of crate. I get nightmares in crate!
I miss mumzie already. Booo...boo...ooo

Obedience Training
What? Me? To obedience training again? Spare me plee.....ase. Under the hot sun. It was OK for mum. She had her shades on, cap & umbrella and all. Me? practically sunbathing in the open for 1 solid hour. And, having to listen to the instructor babbling away. Kept addressing me "boy". Hello????? me, girl lah!. And not forgetting the non-stop barking by this cross-breed. Looks more like a gramlin. If only mum has a shot of, eh....... him/her? Boy, is he/she ugly or what. Every painful time I attend obedience training, my thoughts would drift to S. Rather be S's wrestling mate than out there in the sun. I know - It's that agonizing.

Mumzie, the Dragon Lady
This time, we shall talk about mum. Mum works as a confidential secretary. Think is for more than 25 years now, in a local bank. She is dying to get out but the kids at home are not favouring the idea. Mumzie at home 24 hrs?? No...no. not a good idea. She will be on everyone's backs. Clean your room.. do this, do that. Not that is not good. When she's home, she expects the house in tip top condition. You can see her holding the mop every other hour. And with me as addition, the mess is even greater than ever.
Mum goes to gymn regularly, she's not a gymn freak but she likes to stay fit. She dances a lot. In fact, mum used to perform in the annual events of the company she works in. Quite an experienced one, being in performances and competitions. Heard her telling the kids that she got 2nd placing for her 1st ever competition back in the 80s. Latest trend, she's doing linedancing, funky linedance and bellydance. Latest competition, group linedance and they got 3rd. Not so bad lor. Last night, she did 3 dances; Too Close for Comfort (Disturbia), Poker Face and Jai Ho (Slumdog Millionaire). Besides dancing, mum is also trying tai chi and yoga. She particularly likes hot yoga where she will perspire like nothing I can equate her to.
Mum gone bonker lately. Getting depressed over the Pulau Ketam's dog issue. http://www.tvsmith.net.my. She has been checking for updates on the number of dogs rescued. Worrying if those good people are ok. She even smsed the rescue secretariat yesterday for updates. I know she wanted to lend a hand but she is no expert in those area; dog rescue. And mind you, she is afraid of the water especially out in the sea. I know though she is not telling. Sigh...mum o mum...
All in all, she is one cool mum.
New Home
Arrived new home on 22 February 2009. To a home full of crazy siblings; 2 teens and 1 pre-teen, crazy but loving people. I shall name the siblings according to seniority; B, M & S.
B is college going boy. 18 years of age. Cool guy. Handsome? Eh... can say so lah. I have seen heads turned when we were out in public places. He shuffles a lot. Made mum pay for his pants customised for shuffling, but mum did not see the light of it. B just completed and passed his driving test. Already asking mum to buy him a car - crazy!! He has not even got his "P" licence yet!! Prior to his driving test, mum allowed him to test drive her car. Before we could reach the destination which is only a km away, mum freaked out and took over the steering wheel. Mind you, the passenger seat up front is all mine! B loves me alright. He makes me run alot - the exercise I needed to stay slim. Oh, by the way, mum wants me to grow up slim, just like her. And... she controls my food in-take. What a nerd! Dad's the best. He takes care of my dinner. He deliberately gives me bigger portion.
M is the "princess" in the house. Primadonna is a better word to describe M. Very vocal. Pretty but too vocal. Drives mum up the wall sometimes. In her upper secondary now. She blogs too. Mum likes to read her blog. She writes rubbish but in a very interesting way. Her site is http://www.michellealeong.blogspot.com/. Do check it out. By the way, M, if you are reading this, mum did not drive up to your tuition place last Friday to check on you. Mum went there to placate herself, knowing that you walked alone for tuition. Mum wanted to know that you are safe and sound. You know how mum hates to miss her gymn classes especially the dance classes. Anyway.... M has very good sense for fashion. Loves to dress up, of course, on mum expense.
The youngest one is S. In his pre-teen. Mum having tough time trying to get S to study for his forthcoming UPSR exams. Yup! S is the one who thinks I am his wrestling mate. S had his fair share trying to get me to do the "sit stay" tricks. Well, I am good at both now. New trick just picked up last night was "down". Easy peasy. If only they stopped repeating the instruction too many times. Drives me nut. Mum is holding on to S, refusing to let go. Insisting that S sleeps with her, taking him to her linedance classes bla..bla. The list goes on. Mum knows she has to let go soon. S is getting his MyKad comes Sept 2009!
